For the last three years, Emmaus Ministries has used Giving Tuesday, a global giving day, to raise funds for new international communities in Nigeria, Belize, and Bolivia, among other countries, where they are eager to start and sustain Emmaus in their part of the world. Donations will go to the “Emmaus Gift Fund,” a love offering designated for emerging global communities and will be used for leadership travel and community training.
Giving Tuesday set for November 27 is the perfect day for those who have been impacted by Emmaus, Chrysalis, and Face to Face to share their gratitude and help other Christian leaders around the world experience this powerful spiritual journey that has changed over a million lives.

This year, donations raised on Giving Tuesday will support the start-up communities in Kenya, Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Poland, and Bulgaria. Plus, money for the Emmaus Gift Fund supports the essential work of our regional leaders, representing us around the world.

In 2017, we raised nearly $125,000 for the Emmaus Gift Fund. This year, our goal is $140,000 because the need is greater with five more international communities in the planning stages.
Please encourage your community members to join with pilgrims across the world for this special day of giving. Watch for more information to come. We are counting on you!
Here’s how you can help:

  1. Share the word with all community leaders and pilgrims. Post information on your community website, social media, newsletters, and gatherings. Here’s our website that will be updated along the way with stories about how Emmaus Gift Fund donations make a difference:
  2. Pray. Set aside time today to pray for these new communities.
  3. Give. A gift of any amount will make a difference.
